Advising and Other Sign Up Sheets

Hello again! I hope everyone had a good fall break. I - for one - wish it was a week long instead of two days.
If you need to sign up for major advising or a Senior Seminar individual meeting with me, the sign up sheets are here and here:
Advising: http://profmcs.wikispaces.com/Advising
Senior Seminar: http://profmcs.wikispaces.com/SeniorSeminar
No login in required - just click Edit this page, choose the sign up time you want and enter your name (first name last initial is fine). Don’t forget to click save. You’re on your honor not to wipe out other people’s times please!

Interpret THIS!

Here’s one to challenge all of my classes.
Asian “Atlantis” Shows Strange Structure {http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/2007/09/photogalleries/japan-pictures/photo2.html}
For the Intro folks - is this world heritage? Does your answer change based on whether or not it’s cultural or natural?
For Senior Seminar - how would you interpret this? And if it turns out it IS “Atlantis”?
For Urban Planning - …. I got nothing.
Have a great Fall Break everyone.
See you next week. - Prof. McS

Grading… done.

Well, not all of it. :)
Intro and Senior Seminar students - your projects are graded, posted, and should be available for you to download. If you have questions, I have office hours today and next Thursday 10:30-12.
Urban Planning students - they’re coming! Expect them next Wednesday or Friday.

On another note, the podcast interpretation site I was recommending in Sr. Sem is SoundAboutPhilly.com - not SoundS.

Back from the Conference!

Hello again! I’m back from Minneapolis/St. Paul where the 2007 NTHP Conference was held. I’ve embedded the PowerPoint I’ll be showing my classes this week about just a couple of the things I did there.
Thanks to all my students for being patient in my absence! I’m back now, just in time for midterms - I’ll try to post more later this week after I decompress a bit.
Best - Prof. McStotts
